CLR Systems Testimonials

Dave Black cover crops planted with combine mounted cover crop seeder.

"This seeder, installed on my combine in 2024 far exceeded my expectations. First used while harvesting corn with a seed blend of turnips, rape and black oats, the final stand was excellent, see accompanying photos. Used next planting Hairy vetch while harvesting double crop soybeans in early to mid November again the stand was just as good as the aerial planting done a month before. Loading the seeder was quick and easy with little time taken from harvesting, 10 to 15 mins. My plan this fall is to use the seeder for all my cover crop needs replacing expensive aerial and ground unit planting."

Paul Davis uses a CLR Systems combine mounted cover crop seeder to plant his cover crops

"The corn we picked in September and early October and spread our cover crop blend with your seeder system (it) worked great. From Mid-October till early November we ran our turbo tillage tool after harvest to get some seed to soil contact which seemed to help with a better stand. We had some cover crop seed flown on about 20 years ago and it went 8 weeks with less than .2” of rain and it was a complete failure. So we were pleased with our results this year under extremely poor establishment conditions."

"We look forward to using it again in 2025."

Josh Clark uses a CLR Systems combine mounted cover crop seeder to plant his cover crops

“We spread a little over 200 acres the first year; the seed germinated, and off we went. My system is an easy system to operate. The experience through the entire process was top-notch. I call; they answer to help. The wealth of knowledge CLR Systems has is second to none. I have talked to many other farmers about this system—the benefits it provides: savings on costs, wear and tear of additional application equipment, soil compaction, etcetera. Load and go; I can do two processes at once. Thanks, CLR Systems, top-notch company!”
